Wiltshire
The only part of Wiltshire, England I really saw was Stonehenge (and some farms along the way). This stop was part two of my March 22nd, 2013 tour. The tour guide kept downplaying Stonehenge as "the big rocks." I suppose it's not steeped in the same kind of history and cultural significance as other parts of England, but it nonetheless captures the fascination of tourists across the globe. I heard a number of theories about the potential purposes of the stone formation. The stones are actually set in very deep holes, which is what keeps them stable. I tried to get pictures of the formation from all angles.
