Windsor
On March 22nd, 2013 I went on a very long tour (7:45 am - 8 pm) of some neat places around England. The tour started with Windsor Castle, which is Queen Elizabeth II's favorite place to stay. The castle provided her and her family safety during the bombing of London during WWII. Parts of the castle date back to the 11th century. The coronation jewels are housed in the castle (Sherlock reference!), and guards live on site. We had to rush through the castle, and photography was not permitted inside any of the buildings, so excuse the minimal captions.
